Hi guys! I wanted to know if anyone knew why sometimes a skimmer "skimms" just to much. Mine sometimes generates a lot of pure white foam (no crap) and just keeps filling the collection cup with clean water. I guess it has to do with little waste dissolved in water but I'm not sure. Another guess is too much water comming into the skimmer, but I have adjusted flow to very little. Btw, mine in CC. Any insight will be appreciated.

Sounds like you need to adjust the height of the skimmer or the flow rate, personally it sounds like the skimmer hasnt been adjusted to the correct height. You didnt mention what type of skimmer you are running. Oh and this may sound silly but are you using a chlorine treatment in your top up water. Before I knew of the benefits of RO water I found that my skimmer would go crazy and fill with clear water after a top up with AquaChlor treated water.
