skinning my stand opinions

    Its becomming summer now and I need to finally build/create a skin for my stand and hood.I could use the standard wood of all the color varieties but I like to be different.im tossing around molding a carbon fiber skin or fabricating a brushed aluminum skin.maybe just getting a 3d textured vinyl decal to go over plywood. Im in need of some opinions.comments are welcome aswell.the tank is a 210 with a 120 sump/fuge 3ft of wich will be on display.there's alot of material here the stand is 40ish inches tall and the hood is roughly 16in tall.

    I don't know, depends what you like I guess. The carbon fiber sound bad-azz to me though :thumb_up:

    I was thinking about wrapping my acrylic stand in a wood grain vinyl. I am scared to do it though cuz I think i'll mess it up.

    Carbon fiber sounds cool, i think brushed aluminum will look funny.

    What about doing a flat black vinyl?
