i have always noticed what seemed to be some sort of roots along my sand bed. but today under close inspection i noticed they are actually long, extremely skinny worms that are squirming around all over my sand bed. i have noticed this for months but my tank and all inhabitants are great. is this normal? please tell me they are just detritus eaters!

Can you get a picture? That would help to ID them.

Sounds like spaghetti worms, but as stated a pic sure would help.
