Skunk cleaner eating my snail?

    So before lights out this is what I saw. If anything I feel like I over feed so I don't think that it was hungry. I just had some help to id these stomatella snail and today one is getting ate (i think). Is this unusual? Do you think the snail was dying? It's been over an hour since I took the picture and the cleaner still has the snail in it's hands.

    No not unusual, my stomatella population exploded once I got rid of the hermits, and shrimp. Seems like they were eating them faster then the population could keep up.

    i had a skunk cleaner that actually ate my feather dusters, back to the LFS with him

    huh, okay, thanks for the feedback. i've just never seen that before ever. that's probably whye these snails are so rare in the trade huh? haha.

    You can purchases them on line at a couple places, but I think the fact that most people keep a good number of hermits and shrimp in their tanks the snails just do not have a huge chance to grow to noticeable number.
