Has anyone ever had a skunk cleaner pick at an elegance coral? I got one in today and one of my cleaners is picking at it. It leaves everything else in the tank alone. Is it just trying to find out what it is? Should I move the cleaner to the fuge?

    Thanks in advance!

Upon closer observation, it appears to be cleaning it like it would any fish or my hand. Is this bad for the coral? The cleaning is causing it to close up. I am just worried cause th coral has only been in my tank approx. 5 hours.

I would just keep a close eye on the shrimp. Most likely is just giving it a cleaning and checking it out cuz it's the new guy in the tank.

Ok thanks. Everything, and I man EVERYthing I read on skunk cleaners says they are reef safe. But, he was really getting into it, rocking the whole coral. I tried to get a video, but by the time I got the camera, he had moved on. I will try to catch it later.
