    My first LPS

I got some new coral today from CL someone was tearing down their reef.

So I picked up a trumpet coral that has 27 heads on it! Wooohooo!
    And some pulsing Xenia.

I plan to clean it all up a bit when I get some more rock and some reef epoxy...am tired of the flame angel & snails dumping the frags off the rocks.

Getting the rocks with the frags off the sand bed should help the aesthetics a bit. ;D

Have a new order of cool decorative macros & a surprise (for you I know what it is) coming from Reefcleaners this week....can't wait will be adding and getting new FTSs.

K+ to the person who can find where the basket star is hiding :D
Don't mind the dirty glass I forgot to clean it before taking the pictures.

Thanks I'm really liking it. I hope to get some more from the guy later, as in next paycheck if he still has it.he has 2 other pieces I really like.

Yup I think it was they are having a GHA issue and have been cutting down on feeding and lighting.

    2 more

Posted the pics then went to check on the reef and found that the polyps were extended even more!
So of course I snapped a few more pics. ;D
I think I'm getting the hang of my camera.

If you click on the picture it'll open it in a new tab and you can zoom in and see all the cool details of the feeders. (I did it and see the micro algae on the glass...oh well I've gotta keep my CUC alive somehow :D )

    Win some Lose some

My new YWG died less than 24 hrs into to tank
Then the next day my female Molly died too.

Not really sad about the Molly since I bought them specifically to cycle the tanks and was never sure they'd make it....plus she knocked over my birdsnest too many times.

Anyway I did check my parameters: Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 10 that was after the death of the Goby. So I don't know...neither appeared to have anything wrong with them.

Since there doesn't seem to be anything inherently wrong with my parameters I got my male Mandarin a female friend ;)

His name is Poloka (Loka for short) and the girl is Lana

    Here she is
