Thanks. Yup me too. I do need a bit more rock but plan to go vertical and keep lots of open space for the ponies and swimming room.

For the glass it isn't that clean need to clean the inside again to get what the huge CUC missed or didn't want to eat.
("secret" #1 I specified to John@ reefcleaners that I wanted a strong CUC due to the soon to be ponies ;D)

I also have a lot of macro...or did, the Angel has been eating the Ulva & Gracilaria & the Nori I put on the clip for it. There are mangroves in the HOB filter too. ....so I guess "Secret" # 2 is Macro. Thanks to reefcleaners I also have some different kinds of macro that the angel won't eat, or at least is less likely to.

I feed a lot too but I guess everything get consumed because there's not a lot in the skimmer and not a lot of nuisance algae...so I dunno how I'm getting away with the everyday feeding and such....feed phyto 2-3 times per week at night and leave the skimmer & HOB filter off till daylight.

So the only reasons I can think of for the clean glass is the mighty CUC (all snails no hermits) and Macro doing their jobs.

The outside glass I use Arm & Hammer Essentials sprayed onto a paper towel (away from the tank) and then wipe it down once then use a part that wasn't used before but is damp and wipe again.

Thanks but really I do have a bit of Cyano on the inside that the CUC didn't touch so have to clean that off. But other than that it's usually pretty clean. I tried using Windex for the outside but all it did was leave smears & streaks so tried the other and it works so much better, must have some grease cutters.

    Thanks :cheesy:

2nd Star to the right ans straight on till morning LOL

K+ to the person who can name where the title came from....it popped into my head and kinda fit.

Got another star fish, a little orange one. It has little black dots sprinkled over it's top.

It's really active and moves around the tank a lot and is fast too...for a starfish anyway.
