Missed your thread for awhile. The tank is coming back together nicely after the misfortune. Congratulations on the new additions!

Thanks...the cyano is getting less and less and I think I found out why it's still around....I forgot that I'd left the biowheel in the HOB filter so that's comming out tonight...saw it last night by chance but it was late so I didn't get it done.

I'm waiting for the .5 ammonia to go down in the fuge to connect it up (I think it's from the die off of the micro algae in the once green water).
Plus I want to be sure the inverts and mangroves I transfered from the tank which had the mollies and where the last seahorse died hasn't brought any nasty stuff with them.

Oh and the tank is 10 months old...just 2 more months and it'll be a year old!

You can see a little better from the back. My camera and Lana weren't cooperating with me.

Borrowed my dad's Nikon so was messing around with it and got these shots.

Toasdstool...most of the apastia is gone now as I, with a wild look in my eye and Weird Al's song " Trigger Happy " running through my head, had fun with some boiling RO/DI and a syringe the other day . :uzi::uzi:

Spot trying to avoid the camera but looked just long enough to get this shot...used the macro setting.

congratulations on the mandarin spawning too cool.

Too funny the hermit on the silicon," on the way down" lol.

So you have been clearing up the aiptasia with boiling water alone, must be working well for you???

Thanks just got those shots tonight since I saw it up at the top of the tank (24" tall tank!).
Tried to get video of them but my cell doesn't take the best video and it happened before I borrowed my dad's camera.

Was using the needle with the syringe and that wasn't doing a great job so took it off an was able to get more water out at a time and seems to maybe have done the trick...have a few that were missed or just didn't really get them well in the first place since they're on the back of the rocks.
