Great looking shrooms

Here are some of them since they don't all come out at once...well they try but they get in each others way.

Anyone know how to get them off that rock????

I want some in my 46 when it's ready (they are currently in my nano)and they are too crowded there (there are 6 in that spot)....the little baby ones rarely even get any light.

 

You can cut them off and rubberband or hold them with mesh on the rock you want them or I have heard you can try to get them to release by using the flow from a pump. Scraping off is an option also. It you cut or scrape they will regrow on the spot they were at.

 

Thanks will try all of the above starting with the flow from my power head...seems the least stressful..if that doesn't work then on to more drastic measures (I have a brand new sharp hobby knife....aka..shroom surgical instrument ;D)

 

Since it was too hard to see where the base was at & since some were embedded in holes in the rock I did surgery on the rock with a screwdriver & hammer .

So now they are all separated except for 2 (a parent & child) on the main rock.

Wooohoooo. Get to trade tomorrow!

 

New Corals

Well I did the trade today and got my hot pink mushroom...plus picked up a bird nest coral, a rock w/3 hairy mushrooms, a lone head of blue zoa for $40. It'll all be in my 46 when it's done cycling.

Ordered My new Koralia Evolution

Woohooo...ordered a Koralia Evo today and hope to get it this week since isn't coming that far....yay! The tank is coming together. Now just to get to the no so local LFS later this month for some sand ;D

 

where did you order yours? mine wont get here until next monday
