I like LA, but they are expensive sometimes. I always check petstore.com and petsolutions.com before I order from LA.

    Your birdsnest coral is gorgeous!!!

Yikes their shipping was 7 something...I got the 750 because I'll be getting a 2nd one and with 2 that's 32x's circulation...which I hope is enough. Plan on getting a wave timer too.

Yeah I sometimes just google the item then check pric, shipping charges, tax and such to get the best price.

Thank you...it was bleached out in the guy's tank (he had metal halides) It has darkend and have great polyp extension. I did end up w/ an unexpected frag from it since someone knocked it down last night ::)

The first pic is now...and the 2nd I took @ night w/an LED flashlight on it...can see the green.

    ;D

I'm planning on adding high power LEDs to my tank too for the shimmer effect and to add additional light. I found some LEDs that run @ 20k! :)
(Which really isn't that surprising since they did start off with ones that ran more blue anyway it's only recently that ones that have a lower K came out.)

Plus will be adding dimable blue lunar lights and 4 (would be3 if it weren't for the brace) white ones....the white ones are for near full and full moon, to add to the blue since the light reflted from the moon is a bit more white at that time....the dimable blue is to more closely mimic the lunar cycle.

Yay! I just got my K Evo 750 and is a bit smaller than the K2.

Now to get it into my tank!
