SkyFire's 46 Bow Front - Update 1-1-16

Yeah I think so, just couldn't see sticking a 4th fish in the 20 gallon nano tank. :-/

 

Haha I had the same damsel type and color in my 20g when I set it up to cycle :x.

 

Ahhh...well both the damsels I got at the store were free so.....not that they were selling for much anyway....I sure hope our 2 net technique catches it quickly.

Thanks, I do plan on keeping it, he's kinda funny and cute.
He looks like he has a spiky mohawk. He explores all the rocks and at where he considers home base he stays in his little cave and every so often pokes his head out to see if food is floating by....is too cute.

I'm planning on a bigger reef for the species I want that I can't keep in the 46 (with the seahorses and mandarins) so he'll have a place in it.

I had gone to get a flame angel & a mandarin since that LFS had them on sale for a very good price, but they were out of the flames by the time I could get there and their mandarins were a bit dull in color.

I finally got my Flame Angel, it's 2.5" big. It got into the tank and immediately went to work picking at the rocks. nipped my Kenya tree a bit but seems to have decided it's not food. Hasn't touched the SPS in there at all. ~fingers crossed~

Now just need to name it. ;D

Nice angel. I feel sorry for any damsel owners because of my situation. I have 5 of them when cycling and it was a PAIN to get them out. One of them was stuck in my LR and I had to chisel the punk out. He's ok and in a better home now, but what a terror those things are to catch! Should've poured in Nyquil hahaha

Funny...I used to say I'd give my kids Nyquil if they didn't settle down...LOL never did though was just saying. I hope it isn't too hard to get it out of there when the time comes.


I have 2 possible names to name the new Flame angel either Moto (can do Moto Moto) it means both fire & flame in Swahili or Jasny which means bright in Czech.

Update: the Flame Angel is officially named Moto Moto.
"The name so nice you say it twice" LOL
