Spoke too soon...may be....should I break that piece off or leave it be?

Never mind it started to spread so I snapped it off...like gangrene better loose a piece than the whole thing.

    Babies

Today I was looking at my tank and the piece of my Birds Nest that broke off when I got it (7 days ago). I had glued the 3/4"(or slightly longer) piece to a rock and it already has an almost 1/8" piece budding off of it. So am very happy about that.

The small piece will remain in the Nano and the larger one will go into the 46 bow front once it's done cycling and everything seems stable. The hot pink shroom is also dividing and the blue zoa also has a little bud too. My waving hands & pulsing xenia have some babies popping up as well.

    More New Corals

Today thanks to another 3reefer, that's local to me, I have some new coral...and since he was so generous when my birds nest is bigger I'll give him a frag of it.

It is a "purple colt coral" and I have 3 pieces the largest one hasn't fully opened up yet and will be going into the 46 later.

Oh yeah and the glass is a bit dirty...gotta clean it but was thinking of leaving it for the new snails (aka the CUC I plan to get on the 1st) to take care of...will give em something to eat ;D.

I finally nuked the big rock with several pests in & on it...The color is off in the water due to scrubbing the diatoms from the glass and that the actinic light is out
