    On the Job

Am happy my first clown, Nemo let Zumi, the cleaner shrimp, do it's job today, just for a little bit though before getting spooked off, but has been slowly been getting brave enough to inch closer again.

Hope they both let the shrimp do it's job ;D.

They can be in any water: fresh, brackish or marine...just have to acclimate them. ;D

I do need to change my signature as I have moved the 2 adult Mollies to my 46 gallon bow front tank to finish up it's cycling....all the params are 0 on it and is 1 month old, but I used pre-cured live rock and such so little to no die off there. The remaining baby molly (had 3), is now nearly and inch long but is still to hard to catch since it can hide in the rock.
I figured the Mollies were good to cycle with since they are hardy, cheap, will eat nearly anything and poo a lot. When done cycling with them I can leave them in as I add fish to maintain the bio load till I have the last few to get, then will acclimate them down to brackish to put in my BW tank.

Zumi the cleaner shrimp molted yesterday, and it's tail section is now 1/2" bigger than before...didn't know they get that much bigger!

Dang makes you wonder how all that was once in the other exoskeleton...it's also much brighter in coloration. 8)

In case you're wondering I don't dose iodine, just Seachem's Reef Complete.

    Big Changes & New Additions!

Today we changed out the substrate, I had really wanted black to start with but couldn't find it locally till recently.....so we got the black! Yay!

And because I hate to leave an LFS w/o some new additions I got a long tentacle anemone & a peppermint shrimp (Pepi) @ the 1st LFS I stopped at and then a Blue Devil Damsel (Taz) & Yellow Tail Damsel (Spike) + a 4 bulb T5 fixture w/moonlights @ the 2nd. The YTD is going in the 46g for now though.

FTS is still cloudy so if you want pics you gotta deal :p

Anemone (put it on side of tank since is where it was @ the LFS & I couldn't see into the tank at the time)
