Does anyone have one of these? what do you prefer feeding it, i feed my clowns frozen brine shrimp and pellets, the goby is able to get the shrimp but the clowns eat the pellets really fast, any others suggestions?

Will clowns and the goby go for nori?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If you can get Rod's foods I suggest that highly. It's mixed with meaty sea foods and marine algae with vegetables.

This is a hard fish to feed long term, they look like they are eating but unless you have a large established sand bed it can be hard to meet their nutritional needs.

I do not have a Sleeper Banded, but I do have a Tiger Wardi (from the Valenciennea family). He is also a sand sifting Goby. Mine is a pig and loves to eat Mysis shrimp, plankton, New Life Spectrum Pellets (medium sized ones), etc. Foods that break apart such as flake food or even some prepared frozen foods do not work with him as they just go right through his gills. According to LA, the Sleeper Banded needs some filamentous algae, so you should be trying to feed it Nori or other herbivore foods as well. Just to show how tough they can be to feed, I found this on another forum:

I have a sleeper banded goby that's pretty big in my 210 and he's looking super skinny. I was actually wondering the same thing. I feed everything from PE Mysis, Reef Crack, Cyclopeze, Krill, Hikari jumbo mysis to formula 1 and formula 2 flakes and he's never eaten any of it. I'm pretty sure he's gonna die but I don't know what to do either. I guess he's got everything out of the rocks. I had a diamond watchman goby that would eat mysis too but the sleeper doesn't. If he was eating shrimp and still losing weight then I would lean toward an internal parasite
