    +1. I would personally ask the LFS to hold onto your livestock at least for a couple days after setting the tank back up just to be safe. Also, if you trust your lfs, i would ask for a half a handful of their sand to add to your new sand. I use this in all of my tanks that I set up. Kind of helps with the cycle (now mind you, i have enough tanks that I dont have to use LFS sand anymore)

    Thanks everyone! All great advice, the tank should be here the 25th, maybe I'll start a build thread for this one and keep everyone updated.

    use dry sand do not buy live as it is never alive its just full of dead bacteria!

    One thing I can add, I used a combination of live sand and regular. The benefit to the live is that it doesn't require as much rinsing as the regular sand. Just something that is nice about it.
