Got another sheet of 3/4" ply to level the top of the stand.

Used some sub-floor adhesive to float the top level.

    Shimmed the edge.

The adhesive is designed to level floors. So once it dries I shouldn't have to worry about it settling out of level.

please make sure your rubber o-ring's are inside the tank and not in the back otherwise they will leak.

very fun buid to watch, love the airheads & fun dip lol

ps- not very knowledgeable on LEDs but do most people go with CW over the NW's? Aso I love my UV. Is like turning your tank into a black light poster @ night

I just had them stacked on the back for measuring where to cut the bulkhead. I think I may silicone around the box for ascetic/cleaning reasons also.

My friend had ordered a drill bit from them. He opened the box and was like *** when he saw the candy. Didn't get it.

I don't understand why people go with CW's when you can just run more blues. That's why I chose the NW's and the RB's to have a broad spectrum. I love the look of the UV's too. Just wondering what is a good balance of UV to RB.

Put the sides on. Used some Eucaboard to cover. Going to trim them out with some 1x's so don't mind the nails. Got some 1x6's to trim the front out. Haven't decided on the doors yet.

Mounted up the trim. But I discovered the miter joint was 1/4" off. Sigh, I think I'll just straight cut and sand/fill.

    Thinking about painting it black.

I haven't figured out how to do the doors yet. Once I trim it out I will measure to see if any replacement cabinet doors fit.

This got sidelined(in storage) by other projects. Now situations changed again and this will be my primary tank now.

GH 700 overflow and 3/4" return
    SC150 skimmer.

I need to find some cabinet doors. Everywhere that sells cabinets has the doors as special order. Like why don't you carry doors for the cabinets you sell?

I was annoyed by return pipe vibrations on other tanks. Decided to go with a hose return. The hose is really inflexible and I will probably have to redesign my stand pipe on the pump.

I'll update more when I get it up and running.
