    Hello!

Long time lurker, first time poster! I had a few questions that I was hoping someone could help me out on! I just bought some live rock from someone who was taking down a tank and there was what he called "a few small carpet anemones." They look nice and are bright green, but i may only want to keep one or two. Anyone have any idea the names of these or if anyone buys these things, or are they junk? Thanks!

The one in the first picture is about 2 inches across and the two in the second picture are about 4 inches across.
Also, any chance that first one isn't the same thing as the second picture, like some kind of mushroom or something?

    Welcome to 3reef.

Congrats on the new corals. Perhaps you good get a macro shot of the one closest to the glass. I would only be guessing as to weather they were true anemones or a type of mushroom or something else.

They appear to me, to be fuzzy mushrooms.

Liveaquaria says large 5-7 inches. I would not mind having some. Has the tank fully cycled yet?
