small filtering crustacean?

    I bought a torch coral the other day and there's a small white hitch hiker on it. The animal peeks his head out of a structure I can't identify, sweeps once with what looks like a fan, which then contracts. He sweeps every few seconds. Here's a blurry pic but it's the best I could get. Still working on my aquarium photographing skills... this pic is actually a small cutout from a huge 3648 x 2736 pic.

    looks like a barnacle to me. I've had a few as hitchhikers on snail shells.
