i have a small percula clown that is always hiding because it is smaller than everything else in the tank. i introduced this fish at the same time as some others, but the others are twice its size now. i am thinking of getting an anemone to maybe help him out. what anemone would this clown most likely go to if any?

first off is it a True Percula (Amphiprion percula) or a False Percula (Amphiprion ocellaris). This is a pretty good site ---> http://biodiversity.uno.edu/ebooks/intro.html

imo if u have a large enough tank and it is a true percula i would go with a Carpet anemone...however they do get very large and i would also say to get a BTA i have one with my pair and they love it...also if your clown does not go in right away give him some time...it was weird with my fish he didnt go near it untill i put in another true percula with him now they r living together...hopefully your fish will be more forthcoming :) good luck

Do you have appropriate lights for anemones? If so, the bubble would be a decent choice...carpets get downright huge! ;D

Most clowns don't need anemones for courage...what other fish do you have with it?

i have a 125 so its big enough for a carpet but i dont think i want anything that has the possibility of being that big. i am thinking your right about the bta. it is a ocellaris.
