What is a nice small powerhead to throw in my 5g bucket for keeping my freshly mixed saltwater circulating? Obviously I don't need a ton of turnover.

You can get just a little cheap one for like $20. It'll mix it, but it won't have enough power to pump it into your tank. I have to lift and pour mine, because of this

Just to mix it around just pick up wat ever is cheapest...store brand is fine.a maxijet 1200 should be able to pump thw water into most sumps but not display tanks.....I use 2 pool filter pumps to mix my water and pump it from my basement to my tank ;) but that's like a fire hose lol

I never thought about having it actually pump back into the tank, I was just going to use it for keep the 5g bucket circulating. I supposed I could just get some tubing and I'd be set!

I mix in a 30 gal. drum with a MAG 5. This also pumps to my tank.

I have 2, one is a MaxiJet 1200 (I think) and the other is a mini-jet 600 from years ago. I don't mix in a 5 gallon bucket, though, but in a tub that probably holds 15 gallons (that would be at the very top edge, we mix 14 gallons usually). We use our old Mag7 pump that we replaced to pump water out & in. It's unwieldy for pumping out, but it's the only one that tubing would fit on. Which now reminds me that I forgot to get tubing that would fit a different pump Saturday at the LFS :D.
