    i use a MaxiJet 1200. mix in 5 gallon buckets. than pump with it into my tank. i had a smaller pump it mixed fine but wasnt strong enough pump up into the tank ( acually i pump into the over flow so it gets filtered threw the sock) before that i was picking the 5 gallons up and pouring it in. 5 gallons is a bit heavy and normally i spilt some. the stronger pump makes it so much easier

    I'll add another vote for maxi 1200 and using it to pump back into the sump. Seems like the way to go. I have let the hose slip out of the sump before though, when i was holding it, so I'm not sure it cuts down messes completely. ;D
