    I don't know what they are but they appear to be laying waste to your coral. Interceptor might take care of them. Time to capture some and take a macro shot of them.

    The coral has looked like that since the day I got it about a year ago. So I don't think they are hurting

    OK I still say go with the capture and macro photo so they will be easier to identify.

    Looks like flatworm-ish. Are they only gathered in that one spot? That wouldn't be typical flatworm behavior, if they are. What does it look like when they move.

    took a while but I think I finally figured it out. I think the clownfish had spawned for the first time. When I bought the two clowns the person assured me they were a pair, but weren't mated so I didn't think of it at first.
