does anyone have any ideas on a skimmer for a 20g tank, i have not seen them go smaller then like for a 75g.

and also if you know of a good brand i would love to look into your brand that you like.

I used an odyssea skimmer that was suposibly rated for a 75 gallon tank on my old 20 gallon it was overkill but it workedwell for the 25.oo it was bought for.

aqua-c makes a good skimmer for that size tank, as well as bubble magus.

I know there are a few other better quality skimmers than odyssea for a tank your size thats just my 2 cents HTH

not a problem and the space in nanos is more of a hassle than anything else ;D

after a heater, skimmer, reactor, ect. It was easyier for me to get a HOB fuge skimmer combo (cpr makes them and there are some cheeper ones on aquatrades that work just as well) worked great and gave me twice the interior tank space.

    Hang-on-back refugium. :)

Personally, I don't run a skimmer, although I've never had a tank larger than 55g. I had one for a while a few years ago, and I failed to see any difference, other than the noise, bubbles, and something more to clean periodically. :)

You might want to check out the Hydor Slim Skim Nano. It's designed for nano tanks (30g or smaller) and receives a lot of good reviews and recommendations.
