I've haven't really noticed these guys before, I just thought they were tiny particles in my tap water, but now I see they are all over my tank. They are very small, very small, two or three could fit on a the period at the of this sentence. There must be thousands of them either in the water column or on the back wall. They seem to be eating the algae because I don't see them where the snails have eaten the algae. So far though, I haven't noticed any noticeable side effects. My yellow tail and ocellaris clown are doing great, as well as my pink button polyps and crocea clam. They just make the tank look uglier because you can see them in the water column. They also move around fairly quickly for their size. They remind me of lice or tiny fleas. Im thinking maybe some sort of copeod, but they are too small to see any details of their body. Thanks for any help.
