small white tubes in groups???

dunno what these are, I have them in a few places, they are groups of small white tubes. they are a transparent white, small in diameter like a 1/16th inch at most and maybe at most 3/16th in length, here is a pic, I had to shrink it to meet the sites posting limits though, I circled them in red, they don't seem to move and seem to grow slowly. I kind of like the looks of it...just don't know what they are

 

Looks like sponges. Luna

 

I've had them too, their some sort of sponge, my grew then died off.
