    Hey everyone!

I want to thank everyone that has helped me in my last posts :) .

    Now to the juice,

I want to buy a Smart Ato for my biocube

I want to keep a bucket of RO water in the cabient .

I jusr havent found a video explaining how to add this system to a biocube in the back chambers....

I have another issue.... i have the in chamber 1 nothing..... chamber 2 i have the inTank media basket ( Filter floss / purigen / chemi pure elite )and next to it i have the Tunez 9002 protien skimmer that isnt working properly due to water level is too low in chamber 2...and chamber 3 i have a Maxijet 1200 directly connected to the output.... has any one had issue with the media basket restricting water flowing perfectly?

Any pictures/ videos of your biocube tank with this setup will be greatly appericated...

Should i add water while the pumps are off to reach perfect water levels in the back?

I would HIGHLY suggest an ato if you are running a skimmer. The water level fluctuates a lot from evaporation in these tanks. Adding an ato will cause the water level to stay more stable and allow the skimmer to skim properly.

    Awesome!

Does anyone know how to install the SMART ATO on a 29 biocube? i want the 3rd chamber to always be almost full enough for my skimmer to never malfunction. i just heard it has to be glass.... everything in the back of the biocube is plastic...i dont have the biocube with glass background....unless im not seeing something....

anyone has the smart ato installed on a biocube??? no sump

It sounds like you are referring to the sensor that uses light to detect low water level? I think that would require glass. You may have to use a float detector if it's all plastic back there. Innovative Marine users all glass, but applies vinyl to the outside. A window can be cut in the vinyl if that is what you have.

ok that makes sense, so where i put the sensor controller has to be transparent ( glass for example) . i under stand this now :)

but i still dont under stand where do i put this sensor on the Biocube?

if someone has a picture that would be more than a million words!

The only place the water level should change is in the return pump section. If you notice, the water level doesn't change in the tank or other sections due to evaporation. Should only be the return section. That is where you put the sensor.

AWESOME!!! thank you so much! makes perfect sense as here is where the water drops, but there is no glass back there.... how would i put the sensor? do i have to scrap the back part of the bio cube? and if so how would i scrap it with? a gillet?
