Smart enough for medical school, dumb enough to try this...

Found this on CNN today. Just a warning, it's kind of gross to even think about. I haven't watched the video, so I have no clue what's on it.

How can someone be smart enough to go through medical school with honors and be a local favorite doctor, but be dumb enough to try and break into her boyfriend's house by sliding down the chimney, a day or two before he leaves the country. I don't get it.

All I have to say is, what a horrible way to die.

Hey jwin, in catholic school the nuns taught us the difference between "smart" and "intelligent", the doctor, although smart, was hardly intelligent.

+1 same here catholic school nuns made sure you knew how to think for yourself, and didn't tolerate a lack of common sense.

 

That's a rather bold statement...

 

Regretfully, at NASA, I see some of the most brilliant people that have absolutely zero common sense. I don't understand it, but brilliant people seem capable of unbelievable stupidity at times.
