How long has your tank been set up for? I'm thinking if you just set up your tank with uncured live rock, that could be the problem. But if your tank has been set up for awhile, I would do what mattgeezer said and run some carbon. Do you have a skimmer? Make sure that didn't overflow.

about a cup of carbon per 55 gallons water should fix it.

As everyone has stated run some carbon - I run it 24/7 i really dont understand why some people dont as it does so much for your tank.
Ozone would also help if th eproblem continues to exist

Is how I know time to change out carbon in sump.

My wife has a super-sensitive nose and lets me know the living room is starting to smell like low tide. :-[

New carbon...smell disappears in couple of hours.
