    I used an old DI canister and made a DIY filter... Not too hard and it drains from the overflow to the sump.

    I used to put my carbon in a bag in the filter sock but the crashing of the water would cause too many carbon fines.

    I put mine in the baffle of the sump too because I figured it would get the highest flow.
