To ID what you have posted, in the first picture it is indeed a tube worm. Beneficial filter feeder. And in the second, it is a sponge of some sort. There are so many different species of sponges to run into that its very difficult to get the exact species most times. Either way, its beneficial. So both are good to have. Nice looking tank as well.

Thank you very much. The red feather dusters are really cool. The sponge doesn't really bother me either. ;D

Today we bought two snowflake clowns today! They look awesome. I am drip acclimating them right now slowly, so I will post some pics as soon as I am done with that.

My wife didn't like the pics I took, so she is taking more herself right now lol. The clowns seem to really like their new home. The male is scouting the whole tank out while the female kind of stays in the one spot. My one yellow tail damsel that usually the "bully" is staying it its little cave lol. He hasn't even tried to nip at them yet lol. He is a little smaller then the clowns, so I'm sure this has something to do with it. My one emerald crab tries to grab for them when it gets the chance. It does kind of worry me just a little bit though. So far, they are the most active fish in the aquarium. :)

    Pics are coming.

The clowns are swimming all over the place! I'm so excited. The damsels are trying to defend their territory, but the clowns pay no attention to them lol. I did rearrange some of the rock work before introducing the clowns today. My 3,5 year old loves the new "nemo" lol. He cracks me up just standing there watching them all excited! :)

I will be out of town for the next month. My wife, on here as SmittysWife, will be taking care of my/her tank. She is capable of doing it, but I'm sure she will have plenty of questions.

I know you all will be more than happy to help her out and I really appreciate it. I think that all she should really have to do is feed and top off. Everything else should be fine for the next month assuming she doesn't over feed.

Congrats on the new clown! They are beautiful!

I was torn between a snowflake or a black clown and I went with the black.
Unfortunately the tiny bugger bites me every time I stick my hand in the tank...

Wow, I'm finally back from a 29 day Field Problem. My wife did a great day taking care of the tank. The only issue that happened was one of the HOB filters stopped working while I was gone about 1.5 weeks ago. My wife didn't know how to get it started again lol. There is a lot of purplish bubble algae as a result, but that is really about the only issue.

The female clown seems to have grown a little bit along with both damsels while I was gone. My green mushroom split into one more head and the orange ones split into two more heads finally. :) My xenia (spelling) has really grown quite a bit and I can't really tell if my zoas have grown or not. Over all, I don't really have any complaints for being a month.
