thanks for posting some new pics! that looks like a nice RO/DI unit, I read good reviews when I was in the market for one. I ended up going with the refurbed 90gpd 4 stage spectrapure one - no complaints, worked great out of the box and is a little cheaper. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice

Thank you for the response. I am still looking around, but a lot of people seem to use BRS. I just thought I would see what people thought of it lol, and it has a lot good reviews.

I retested my ammonia and nitrites tonight when I got home. I also changed out my filter media last night. Both tested at 0 ppm tonight, I might have read the results wrong the other night as well.

Also, my wife heard me say that I wanted a yellow tang the other night. She bought me one tonight lol. She just didn't hear the rest of my conversation in this thread lol. He is beautiful though. I've always wanted one. Might be able to do an upgrade with our tax returns now lol. :) I will post a pic of him later on. Right now I am acclimating him to the tank.

I agree, they are both great. When I get an RODI unit, I will be going for a refurbed 4 stage SpectraPure. But the BRS one has lots of good reviews as well. Pick whichever one you think is better.

My damsels aren't happy with me lol. One is hiding up by my power head and the other is in its cave.

I got a 75gpd from purely h2o.. a sponser here. It was like 120 shipped or so. Maybe less, I can't remember haha. But I have a little hose adapter for it, and hook it up fill up my jugs and take it off.. Never bothered testing the TDS but I've been using it for like over a month now and haven't had any problems..

So I found the emerald crab that had molted upside down on the sand bed when I got home from work today. Wasn't really to happy about that one, but kind of expected I guess.

On another note, the Yellow Tang is doing great. He loves to eat pellets lol. All the fish seem to be a little bit happier today lol. I think I will take my damsels to a LFS this weekend to make room for fish that I actually want lol. :)
