New Question

I added RowaPhos last night to my HOB filter using the nylon bag that came with it. I used about half the jar (roughly 50 mL I'm guessing) since my tank is only 40 gallons. I'm hoping that I did the right thing? Should I have added the whole 100 mL? Also, when is a good indicator of when it should be changed out?

I searched for other threads on here, but they didn't really answer my questions, or I just didn't find the right thread lol. Ty in advance for your help.

What I would like to know now is, can I frag these guys without spreading them all over my tank? I like them, but not that much lol. I wouldn't having only 1 - 2 stalks. My problem is that the LR I got last weekend has at least 1 stalk on every piece and I would like to get rid of most of the kenya trees but not the LR seeing as it is about 30 pounds of LR from a system that had been running for about 3 years.

 

If you're not a member of a reef club where you could sell or trade the frags, perhaps your LFS would be interested in trading or giving store credit for them.

 

I know that I can take them to my LFS or advertise them on craigslist, that isn't the problem. What I would really like to know is that when I frag them, are they going to spread all over the place? I don't really want a tank full of kenya trees lol. ;D

 

Wow, I cleaned a lot of my equipment today with straight vinegar. It was so nasty lol. I have better flow now lol.
