Wow, I've missed a few posts.

I've never heard of them killing anything. They're mainly detritivores, feeding on waste and uneaten food, although you will see them out around feeding time if they're hungry.

Ok then, I wont really worry about them then. I might when they get really big though. Kind of scare me lol.

Did a little rearranging today. My green mushrooms split again. :) My reds are doing really good as well. Mushrooms really seem to like my tank lol. I now 7 heads from my original 2 (red mushrooms that is). For the green, I'm up to 4 heads from the 1 head that I started off with. I got those corals back in July.

I seem to have a red striped mushroom as well. I will try to get a decent pic of it later on tonight.

I took out all but 2 of my kenya tree stalks and put them in the 14 gallon tank under my stand. I am now noticing a lot of pod movement over by my macro algae as well. It seems like the tank is really starting to take off now on its own. I'm so excited.

I am thinking of adding a flame angle to the tank. What is everybody's thoughts on this? I know they are known to eat corals, but I have talked to people that don't have this problem. My wife has been wanting one for awhile.

I really like flame angels too! From what I read some will and some won't, just depends on the fish you get. I say try it if you want one, if it doesn't work out you can get him out

Sounds like the mushrooms are going crazy! Congrats thats gotta be cool to see

That tank is kinda small for a flame imo.Just think if he doesnt work out youll get a chance to rearrange your aquascape because you will be pulling it out to catch it.lol.

Lol that is true. I agree with the tank being kind of small honestly. That is why I haven't gotten one yet. I'm one the fence about it.
