Ok, I just updated my params on reefstorm.com and found something interesting. I need a new test kit for one. It puts everything into perspective for me lol. I noticed that my nitrites are almost always .1 ppm, which can't be right. Also, my nitrates have always tested at 0 ppm, which is good, but I don't believe it. If my readings were right the whole time, I should have had an increase in nitrates due to ammonia and nitrites rising to .25 and .1 respectively.

Just a quick note is all.

Just a quick update of my params, which I took before I do a water change for some reason.

    SG - 1.023
    PH - 7.8
    Ammonia - 0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 5
    Phosphate - 1
Alk - 2.2 meq/L (normal according to the color card)

Everything except the ALK was taken with an API test kit. The ALK was taken with a Red Sea test kit.

Sweet. Did you use the reef master test kit?

Thanks, they say the are master kits lol. In order for me to consider a test kit a master kit, it would have to include more then just ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ALK and PH. ;D

Well today is my Birthday lol. Hopefully I can pick up a flame angel and a Banded Coral Shrimp (Stenopus hispidus). :) Hopefully I get some money and can buy a RO/DI system.
