Smitty's 40 Gallon Breeder - I miss this tank :(

I finally did some much needed cleaning of power heads in my tank. My flow is a lot better, that is for sure. I also added my hydor 550 back to the tank, I will see how this goes for the 2nd time. I think I had it placed wrong the 1st time around. Now I just need to do some water param testing.

 

Koralias can be tricky to place. Gotta get it just right! Any recent pics?

 

I will try to get some tonight before the lights go out. May not happen though since 3 of my kids are still awake and crawling all over me lol.

Here are some updated pics. The turbo snails have been doing their job lol. I haven't cleaned a single bit of GHA except for on the equipment itself today.































As you can see, I am having a cyano and what looks like a diatom break out. I really need to replace some filter media before it gets out of hand.

The wrasse is my favorite fish in there. It is a McCosker's flasher wrasse. I might have to find him a female wrasse to flash at lol. He is a beautiful fish though. And thanks for the compliments.

Thank you, still no where close to how I want it lol. I think that I want to add a reactor for GFO and GAC as well. I really want to run bio pellets, but haven't found the extra money to do so yet.
