    zap the bastards! So far I'm free of them, but i saw a majanoish bastard the other day, but i changed my substrate out and lost it during the process. hopefully its dead

    Yeah in order to use it I would be sure to lock up all terrestrial pets and drape a sheet over you tank while in operation so stray beams cant reach out of the room. Also make sure to have HIGH QUALITY safety glass tune to your laser's wavelength.

    There it still an unproven risk of diffraction to your tank inhabitants so that is why I havent experimented with the laser technique. IMO Berghia are proven, safe and cheaper.
