Ty, I just got him yesterday. I'm really excited about him. He is swimming in and about a little more this afternoon, but not nearly as much as I would like of course. My damsel was giving him a hard time, but seems to have decreased now. I have a 10 gallon tank that I'm putting the damsel in tonight for a time out lol.

Glad to hear that you are working again. That must be a good feeling. ;D Sometimes crazy is a welcome change of pace.

I bet you are. :) He'll be fine in a few days. Just needs time to adjust to his new surroundings. As for the damsel, don't know if I'd stress the entire tank trying to get him out if the aggression is subsiding. It's perfectly normal for a lot of species to establish their territory with newcomers. I'm actually surprised that your clowns didn't show some aggression, as well.

Thank you, and yes, it is both a good feeling and a welcome change. :)

I may just leave him, I really wanted another option for a time out tank anyways. This gave me an excuse to finally get one going lol. I was really surprised that my female clown didn't try to exert her authority in the tank as well. The clowns really just ignore the angel for the most part. I'm not complaining though, knock on wood.

Congrats! I'd prob give it another day, trust me those yellowtail satan spawns are TOUGH to catch. The minute the word is out that you're gonna get him, they cling to rock work like velcro. Had to take my scape down to get them, then it was still a PITA

I've caught him before when I was having an issue with my fish dying. If anything I would wait till the lights go out though. Get him while he sleeps lol
