smoking coral?????

    i bought this soft coral (trying to upload a pic of it but didnt work, looks like a mushroom with hundreds of yellow tenticals on it. LFS didnt no what it was either!

    wasnt happy in the current so i moved it to the floor, still wasnt happy so i moved it again this is the second day i have had it and it started smoking loads!!!! when most of its tenticals where out?

    what is it doing???? iv only had it 2 days is this bad? surely it cant be sporning?

    It sounds like the coral is spawning. They do this in times of stress.

    thort it was. does that mean i will eventually get other corals of the same type or does it need a partner coral male and female?

    Now that part, I am not sure of. I would just leave the coral where it is so it has time to adjust to its new environment.
