Snail and Hermit crab id please

we also found an interesting mantis shrimp. I will put a pic of him on here too, just gotta get it off my camera.

 

ya it looks like a mud whelk we will be leaving those and the hermit crab.

 

ok so we're thinking that our 'mantis' is a speckled snapping shrimp, but still cool

 

and apparently snapping shrimp is another name for a pistol shrimp

but this guys was just sitting in a tide pool, doesn't sound like a pistol shrimp lol, but who knows

 

Yup, the snail is Ilyanassa obsoleta.
