Few days ago I saw one of my turbos start plopping out these small white round things. I assume they are eggs or egg sacks, what do you think?

Then today one of my ceriths did the same except those came out in a helical strand, take a look.

Yep eggs, and chances are nothing will come of them! Snail eggs don't seem to hatch in reef tanks.

Edit! Guess I'm wrong;) my bad!

Didn't know that, good info, I just knew we'd all have millions of snails if they did grow up:(

I've gotten about 20-30 baby snails from eggs that have been laid in my tank within the past 6 months. The biggest one is about the size of a BB.

Somehow, I looked in my tank today and saw some baby snails, about 1-2 millimeters wide. I started counting....there are over 25 just on my glass and obvious on the front of my liverock. I have about 10 adult turbos...only had em a month. So somehow I just got 25+ babies. Do you think they hatched in the tank? must be because I havent added any new rock in over a month.

10 adult turbos, thats a lot of snail!lol Honestly, I don't know. Been on sites for a long time, and it seems 99 out of 100 times no baby snails result from the eggs. Congrats on the babies, hopefully ya can trade them for a fish at your LFS;)
