I posted earlier about my miami hurricane receeding suddenly and finding a tiny snail. Tangster told me to research drupella snails. Unfortunately I did not have a picture of the snails cause the piece is at the store right now!

Well tonight after the lights went out I took my flashlight and looked around my tank (something I should have done more frequently obviously) and I see hundreds of these snails that are no bigger then a pinhead..there shells are white and swirl like cones with some brown on them. I plucked 4 of them out of the tank and got as best a picture as I could. I then took a flashlight to some of my other tanks and they are there also. They are all over my rocks and some on my clam shell..not pyramid snails I dont think! My clams look good, my acro looks good

Any ideas what they are...I was thinking drupella like tang said however I dont have any acro in any of my other tanks. One guy at the LFS earlier today before I found these said it was a sundial snail (but 1. my zoos look good..no closed polyps and 2. why would it attack my chalice?) A second guy said it was baby turbos...I cant find any pictures of them anywhere?

I do understand how whatever it is has infested all my tanks...as I have taken rock from one system and placed it in another!

I am still searching the different sites...I have found someplaces that look like it could possibly be collonista snails..which are just algea grazing snails (PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE) the pictures look kind of like that and they are nocturnal...so what says you all? ;D (I am shooting for collonista!)

I agree with mission. I used to go through waves of those every now and again, but they haven't seem to have returned for a while now. I think the mandarin got them in my tank honestly ;) I wouldn't worry too much.
