Hey guys, I just found this strange Snail-like creature in my tank. The difference is that he is quite fast at moving (Faster then your average snail) and s/he doesn't have a Shell, but a brown back with tiny hairs on it. The 'Feelers' are quite long compared to the size it is (About the size of a small dwarf hermit) and the White sticky part of s/he that sticks onto the glass for example is much larger then again your average snail. I'm not worried at all, He's seems pretty cool, I just noticed him now gliding about under a shaded area of my Live Rock, So I think he's probably nocturnal since I've had the tank about near to a year and only noticed s/he now :D

By the way, I actually love the critters I find in the Live Rock even to this day. Found a small feather duster just after finding this guy. And sorry about no pictures, Like I've said before, I have no USB cable for the Computer. Thanks

With no pictures it's hard to tell. Look up stomatella but that's a guess

I had a couple in my DT, now my sump has about 10 in it. They are definitely fun to watch

Since I have no hermit crabs, I tend to have very large populations.

I have spawning events when I turn off the pumps to do a water change as well. The change in water chemistry, namely pH and the reduction in flow seems to set them off.

It looks like little tiny puffs of smoke emitting the rock work.

I have seen those puffs before but had no idea what they were. and didn't think to look into it. Thanks!
I've gotten rid of any hermit that causes trouble.just drop them off at my Lfs. I think I'm down to scarlet reef hermits and they seem to mind their own business... So far.
