I believe my margarita snail abandoned his shell and is now crawling along my rocks and such doing what snails do? It's looks like a black loogy with antenie poking around. Is that what it is I haven't seen the snail otherwise? If it is him why did he leave his shell? And is that safe for him ?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Are you sure it's not a Stomatella snail instead?

Honestly I do not think a snail leaving it's shell is a good thing at all, could a hermit have ripped it out?

Pretty sure it's the margarita cause I only have him a yellow turbo and a snail that lives under the sand unless it's feeding time. And no clue at all I noticed one day that his shell was in the sand bed upside down and he wasnt in it and now I see this black blob on my rocks moving around lol

Stomatella snails usually hitchhike in on rocks, corals, or macro algae.
    Might also be a scutus.

Google "black stomatella" and "black scutus" and see if it's either of those.
