I have noticed these round flat white spots on my back glass..
They around 1/8 inch and smaller. Want wipe off have to use fingernail.
    Then they easy to remove..
One was on the front glass and I could see it looked like a tightly coiled rope, white and little.. Some type of eggs..??
My camera want tale a good picture..
The only snails that I have, that I know of, is one Big one Almost the size of a silver dollar... Some of you may ask " Whats a Silver Dollar " LOL
And some sand shifting ones that go under the sand and send up a snout.? I don't belive they can go up the glass..

What you think it could be..?? Tank is around 3 months old 55 gal..

    Thanks, Larry

Could they be spiral tube feather dusters, they are only .25" and come from your live rock. The back of my tank is covered with them. They are harmless.
