I have two different snails that I am not sure about. I am pretty sure one is reef safe and the other is not. If you can please tell me if they are reef safe and what kind of snail.
This first picture is the snail standing up I thought it was cool.

For the first one I'll give you a hint, check your title on here.
I don't know what the second one is, but the fact that your zoas are closed isn't a good sign.

i agree with triggerfish. polyps look disturbed normally is not a good sign especially when you find a bug like that on it.

get it out and look for any eggs laid. i would do a freshwater dip to be safe.

the flamingo tongue (the really nice one with the spots) eats gorgs only. Nothing else, really nice looking though. You can feed it purple whip gorgs, they tend to be bigger and cheaper than most other gorgonians.

Yeah, John beat me to telling you that about the Flamingo Tongue, Cyphoma gibbosum, since I'm on dialup at my parents' this weekend, and it took me an hour and twenty minutes to download your pics (an hour of which was downloading background). Nice pics, but duuuude...CROP YOUR ID PHOTOS.

Unless you have gorgonians growing in your tank, the snail in the first pics won't hurt anything. They are fabulous snails, but picky eaters. Yours will starve if you can't find the correct gorgonians to feed it.

The snail in the second pic is harmless also. It's Stomatella varia, and the zoa's are probably closed just because it's crawling on them. It's an algae grazer.

    Cheers,

    Don

Thanks you so much sorry about not cropping them I thought about it once I already had the uploaded and did not feel like re-uploading them :D. I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing but he is still alive in my tank and has been in it for at least 5 months. The other guy I knew was harmless cause I have so many of them and they just stay on the glass for the most part.
