Snails, how how long do they live?

Well the eggs are laid on the glass and then they hatch, but after that they disappear. So either something is eating them or they're hiding in the sandbed.

 

how do u know they are hatching.

 

Well they sit there for three days and then disappear in the night. So if they're sitting there for three days. I wouldn't think somethings waiting until the third night every time the eggs are laid to eat them. I just counted my new batch. There are 48 eggs all in rows. I actually got to watch the snails lay the eggs.

I have 12 in my tank 3 in my fuge and 3 in my lionfish tank.

He's only a couple of inches long. He was 30$.
