Snails in u tube causing overflow! Help!

    Woke up today to water on the floor and 2 snails in u tube on overflow box clogging it. Anyone have any ideas how to keep the snails out of the u tube?

    put a screen over the end of it.

    Make sure it is a fairly open weave screen. Tight enough to keep the critters out but not so tight that it impedes water flow.

    Fixed the problem I think. I bought a 3\4 PVC plug drilled alot of holes in it and super glued it to my u tube. No way a snail can get in there now! I also cut some acrylic and covered all of the open holes so no more snails going carpet surfing
