snails

i live in nh and was wondering if its possible to use snails from up here in my saltwater tank..(assuming i acclimate them properly)

 

if they are saltwater snails...i would put them in qt for a long time first just to make sure they arent carrying nastys on them though,parasites or toxins ect

 

how long would you recomend qt for?

 

I'd figure out what kind of snails they are too.. Some snails can be harmful!

 

I would say no because your waters are so much colder than tropical water.
