The coral you were asking about is a Frogspawn. It use to be one piece but I had to frag it so it wasn't so bulky in one place lol. A clown goby will be fine with another goby that is paired. Clown gobies don't normally settle down near the bottom, they like to be perched up high (usually on a coral) in the tank. But I hear horror stories of clown gobies destroying some SPS corals, so i would be careful. If you don't have any, then a clown goby would be fine in your tank with the other goby and shrimp.
The hermit crab is doing fantastic, he's a Hawiian reef Hermit crab(Calcinus laevimanus). Haven't caused any problems at all in my tank. I also read that they reach about 1inch but my guy is probably closer to 2 inches, maybe 1 1/2 inches. but he's very gentle around my corals, tried not to step on them LOL and he hasn't once killed or eaten any of my snails and I have LOTS of snails. The electric blue hermits I use to have cause problem after problem! they would knock over corals, flip them over if on the sandbed, and killed and eaten 3 of my snails including my turbo snail, so I traded them for dwarf red legs, teh cousin of my dwarf blue leg hermit.

Thanks, but my setup is as simple as it gets and a lot of ppl would say not to try it lol All I have for filtration equipment is a canister filter. It's a fluval 205, so it's rated for up to 40gal tanks. but I keep all media, including sponges out of the filter except some carbon to help with any chemical warfare that may be happening in the tank because of the kenya tree and colt coral I have. My tank is such close quarters that I would rather be safe than sorry, ya know lol. I just keep the canister very clean and I have no problems with it. No skimmer or sump/refugium! I just keep up on my water changes. I have about 15lbs of LR to help with everything too. I test my Nitrates very regularly and even within a 2 week period my nitrates will barely reach 10ppm, but I usually do my water changes regardless of the nitrates because I want to make sure the corals have enough of the minerals and such that is in the salt before they are all used up in the tank. I don't dose anything except the occasional Calcium, that's it. Very simple. just have to keep up on water changes and I'm good to go. And as you can see from my pictures you don't have to have an expensive ellaberate system with all this equipment etc to have a successful reef aquarium.

It's just a Samsung. It's a good little camera but it can be really finicky. If you don't have it on the proper setting for certain pictures it takes crap pictures. So I kind of had to get to know it before I actually started taking nice pictures lol.

This tank is my pride and joy! It's my baby and I loving fiddling with it. I even have to stop myself from fiddling or I'll probably end up crashing it in some way lol.
