    Okay...what camera. Keep us in suspense. Well, maybe just me in suspense...about to buy a camera, but still wavering between models.

    Well shucks...I was hoping it was a tad bit lower on the scale of Nikons. I'm about to grab the P100. I am biased to Nikons as well. Beautiful pics.

    for that price you might as well snag a few bucks more and get a d40. much better investment short/long term.

    I have the Nikon P90...the model just previous to that of the 100. It's a very nice camera...great for macros of flowers, wildlife, coral, etc. But I have trouble getting shots of fish(swimmers). For this reason, I wish I would have spent the extra $200 on a DSLR camera.

    Face of Deceit, Look into getting a refurbished Nikon D40X. It is the newer versionof the Nikon D40, but can be had at a pretty reasonable price. These[refurbished] are "used" cameras, but anything broken has been fixed or replaced with mostly new parts.
